• Lot n° 10 A late 19th century French Miniature champleve enamel and brass carriage clock timepiece Numbered 409 Numbered 409 The three-piece carrying handle over a rectangular bevelled glass observation window to a moulded cornice, the sides with multi-coloured enamel decorated panels of geometric patterns, (the rear door glazed), terminating in a moulded base. The 1.25 inch dial with turquoise Roman chapter ring with painted steel hands framed by florid enamel decoration depicting flowers and scrolls. The single train movement with going barrel, numbered 409 to the back plate, fitted with a silvered English-style lever platform escapement, currently ticking. 9cms (3.75ins) high.
