Anger was an American Underground experimental film maker, actor and writer who was of great influence to directors such as Martin Scorsese, David Lynch and John Waters. Wishart was a friend of Francis Bacon and Lucien Freud; he studied under Cedric Morris in Suffolk. His godmother was Peggy Guggenheim.
