The sitter looking slight to dexter, his short curling hair crowned by a ribbon tied fruiting laurel wreath, clad in a cuirass with a folded drapery to his right side, raised on a waisted moulded square socle base, together with a 19th century grey scagliola faux marble pedestal of column form, the moulded revolving circular top above a plain shaft and moulded circular socle, mounted to a later black painted wood shallow square plinth base,
