The 9.5 inch square dial with skeletonised silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals with Arabic five minute markers and circular half hour marks engraved on the hour ring, the matted centre with three winding squares and calendar aperture with pin hole adjustment with blued steel hands framed by four cast silver winged cherub head spandrels signed beneath the VI Robert Seignior, London, the triple gut fusee movement now with steel lines united by eight knopped and latched pillars with verge escapement, the clock striking the quarters on a nest of four bells and hammers and the hours on a large bell mounted above both via engraved and numbered count wheels mounted to the backplate which carries further engraved decoration with a central Tudor rose and foliate engraving to the corners and sides, the decorated steel work including shaped external solid clicks and springs mounted to the backplate, currently ticking and striking and sold together with one case key. 51cms (20ins) high.
