A Navajo double saddle blanket Mid-20th century, Diné Woven in red, orange, black, dark brown, cream, and natural grey wool, with two columns of stacked Xs within an interlocking square border 49.25" H x 27.5" W Provenance: The Robert Stuart Schaefer Collection, Independence, CA With dust accumulation and typical signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Issues include, but not limited to: likely reweaving at one short end, and side A with two pea-sized spots of moth grazing with exposed warp.
