• Lot n° 45 A Mexican Rainbow Saltillo sarape Circa 1930s Finely woven in green, blue, brown and cream wool and silk with an elaborate central serrated concentric diamond with silver metal thread accents, multiple ombre shaded bands and contrast banded motifs, with knotted fringing to each end 80" H x 35.5" W approximately Overall good condition with dust accumulation, creasing, and typical signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Issues include, but not limited to: a few scattered faint spots, a small area of minor insect grazing, and the diamond and silk bands with scattered areas of dye transfer.
