The bell top case with brass banding and acorn finials over side handles and shaped brass-bound glazed panels to a brass-bound base on ogee bracket feet. The 7.5 inch circular white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with bold numerals and central signature, framed by spandrels incorporating a basket of flowers and surmounted by a subsidiary dial for tune selection, with blued steel hands. The triple gut (now wire) fusee movement with knopped pillars and fully engraved backplate striking the hours on a bell and playing the tunes on 14 bells and 22 hammers. Ticking, strike in need of some attention, but playing music every hour on the hour. 59cms (23.25ins) high
