• Lot n° 51 A Meissen K.P.M teapot and cover, circa 1725-30 Each side painted with a chinoiserie scene in a quatrelobe gilt scrollwork cartouche filled with Böttger lustre and edged with polychrome foliate scrollwork and panels at the corners, with further scattered insects, the scroll handle and curved spout with bird's head terminal painted with indianische Blumen and embellished in gilding, a triangular gilt scrollwork panel below the rim above the spout, the domed cover with a continuous chinoiserie scene and gilt rims and finial, 12cm high, K.P.M and crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt mark "81." to both (2)
