The 5 inch white enamel dial with black Roman numerals with engine turned centre signed Houdin Père with blued steel hands and centre seconds, framed by an elaborately cast bezel. The single train movement powered by a large going barrel with circular plates supported by four turned pillars, with finely finished pin pallet escapement and knife edge gridiron pendulum, currently ticking. 58cms (23ins) high.
