In-4 reliure de l'artiste. 33 planches de papier marbré réalisé à la main par Karli Frigge (avec 2 photographies la montrant à l'œuvre). Tirage à 100 exemplaires (102 en réalité, en comptant les 2 premiers exemplaires réservés à l'artiste et l'éditeur) n°101, signé par l'artiste au justificatif (avec une note manuscrite de l'éditeur). ""The marbled papers tor this book have been made by me in the summers of 1983 and 1984. Later the text; the translation is by Roger Andrews, Tanya and Hans Schmoller. In 1985 the text was set following the typographical instructions of my husband, Willem de Valk, from the Garamond-Stempel and printed by Van Marken Printers - Delft. During the winter, when marbling was impossible, I bound the books. They have a calf letaher spine and a harnass-leather binding with laced little leather straps, after the old Dutch style of binding. The title in the leather has been scorched letter by letter and I hope you do not mind the irregularity - I cannot reach the perfection of a machine. Because of the fact that the leather is tanned naturally it will darken slowly. If you want you can quicken this process by exposing the book to the light. Please do not mind a little spot here and there: nature-tanned leather is very boring without little imperfections."" (Colophon). Les papiers marbrés de ce livre ont été réalisés par mes soins au cours des étés 1983 et 1984. Plus tard, le texte ; la traduction est de Roger Andrews, Tanya et Hans Schmoller. En 1985, le texte a été mis en page selon les instructions typographiques de mon mari, Willem de Valk, à partir du Garamond-Stempel et imprimé par l'imprimerie Van Marken - Delft. Pendant l'hiver, lorsque la marbrure était impossible, j'ai relié les livres. Ils ont un dos en cuir de veau et une reliure en cuir de harnais avec de petites lanières de cuir lacées, selon l'ancien style de reliure hollandais. Le titre dans le cuir a été gravé lettre par lettre et j'espère que vous n'en verrez pas les irrégularités - je ne peux pas atteindre la perfection d'une machine. Le cuir étant tanné naturellement, il s'assombrit lentement. Si vous le souhaitez, vous pouvez accélérer ce processus en exposant le livre à la lumière. Ne vous préoccupez pas des petites taches ici et là : le cuir tanné naturellement est très ennuyeux sans ces petites imperfections.
