The 6.5 inch brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers framed by four cherub's head spandrels, the matted centre with ringed winding squares and blued steel hands. The two train movement with verge escapement and finely engraved back plate depicting flowing scrolls and flowers signed in a central cartouche John Wise, London, striking the hours on a bell and repeating the quarters on a nest of two bells (each bell stand with shaped and fettled foot).
