• Lot n° 58 A Spanish Colonial iron-clad wood chest 18th/19th century With wrought-iron partial latch lock, the hinged top opening to reveal a smaller inner compartment at one side 24.75" H x 55" W x 27.5" D Trim elements with some separation. Long crack at the front of lid. Older losses throughout, with concentrated losses to lower trim at back. With scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, and separation at joints commensurate with age. Possibly with older repairs/restoration, particularly to hinges and hardware.
