Standing in samabhanga on a separate carved lotus base placed on another lotus base supported by a tiered cylindrical-shaped base, both hands showing the vitarkamudra, wearing a monastic garment including an underskirt with its border falling down on his feet and a wide-sleeved mantle covering both shoulders falling down in concentric pleats, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into the nose-bridge, inlaid urna at his forehead, smiling lips, pierced elongated earlobes, the curled hairdo continuing into a low ushnisha set with a ratna-emblem to its front and behind him is placed a large separate halo finely sculpted in ajour with scrolling tendrils
