Je 79,5 x 55 (134 x 83) cm Both paintings depicting probably episodes from the previous lives of Buddha Shakyamuni, one with the standing Buddha holding mendicants staff and alms-bowl, the other with a red coloured seated Tara as main figure, both placed in a spherical and mountainous landscape dotted all around with scenes of various buildings showing debating and meditating lamas and monks, some water scenes with boats occupied with various personages and more rural scenes with horsemen and wandering monks, in brocade mounting.
