• Lot n° 850 China, Kangxi period H. 44,5 cm Tall cylindrical shape with waisted neck and slightly flared rim. A continuous depiction in various shades of blue: Warriors and generals in armour in a rocky landscape - based on the famous novel "The Tale of the Three Kingdoms" - and all between incised double-line borders. The neck decorated with hanging leaves. The upper rim mounted with a later gilt metal mount (18th/19th century added in Europe). Unglazed base.
