The architectural case with ripple-moulded edges throughout, ebonised backboard, six thin glass panes and a pair of levelling screws to the base. The signed white enamel Roman dial with minute track and blued steel hands (the minute counter-balanced) within a geometric cast bezel. The weight-driven movement with five-wheel train terminating in a deadbeat escapement, fine screw beat adjustment to the pendulum with polished steel rod and large brass lenticular bob, mounted on a knife-edge secured to the backboard. Together with the brass cylindrical weight, and a brass crank winding key. 94cms (3ft 1ins) high
