Mason, Liverpool The shaped pierced frame united by turned baluster pillars over three pairs of coils set between two pairs of lacquered brass tapering columns, the centre wheel set in front of a spring remontoir driving the deadbeat escapement and wood-rod pendulum suspended from a block held between a pair of 10.5inch columns mounted at the rear. The silvered skeletonised chapter ring with scalloped outer edge marked for every minute, with blued steel hands, all set on a circular moulded base with applied label for G.W.MASON, MAKER, LIVERPOOL, 1914, with a battery compartment below (taking two D-cells). Under a glass dome. To the top of the frame 34cms (13.5ins) high.
