Two Battersea or Birmingham enamel 'Fable' plaques, circa 1755 Of rectangular shape and printed in red, one with the fable of 'The Fox and the Sick Lion', the lion recumbent at the mouth of his den before two foxes, the other with the fable of 'The Bird in Borrowed Feathers' or perhaps 'The Peacock and the Magpie', with three peacocks and two birds on the tree on the left, a palace in the distance, both 8.4cm x 10.4cm (2)
