Buddha is seated in virasana on a separate cast base formed by the coils of a snake continuing into a seven-headed canopy, both hands resting on his lap supporting the alms-bowl, wearing a diaphanous monastic garment, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below ridged eyebrows, smiling lips, elongated earlobes and his hairdo continuing into the ushnisha, on stand.
