The 10 inch square brass dial with skeletonised silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, the matted centre with date aperture and subsidiary seconds, all framed by cast brass cherubs head spandrels, signed below VI Henry Harpur, London. The two train movement with anchor escapement and long pendulum, striking the hours via an external countwheel on a large bell mounted above, united by five pinned and knopped pillars.
