The flat top case with bevelled glazed observation window and ebony-framed spirit level, the sides with similar glazed panels, the front with double brass stringing framed by an ebony border, over a concave moulded base on adjustable bun feet. The 5.25 inch signed silvered dial with black Roman numerals within a minute track, the centre with Arabic running seconds dial over a power reserve dial marked 0-8, with finely finished blued steel hands with stop lever to the upper right of the dial signed Kevin White and Hutton 11 Billiter St London and numbered 545. The substantial eight day movement with thick plates united by four robust pillars, the single train with maintaining power to the chain fusee, and terminating in a fine spring detent chronometer escapement with helical hairspring and diamond endstone to a heavy cut and compensated bimetallic balance. The plates, platform and baseplate all displaying a machined decorative finish. Ticking and sold with a (later) winding key. 28cms (11ins) high.
