In 1997 he represented Britain at the Venice Biennale. An exhibition of Gordon's work was recently held at Gagosian Gallery, London from 1st February 15th March 2024 to celebrate the public installation of a new work commissioned for the Elizabeth Line Underground station at Tottenham Court Road, installed on 1st February 2024.
