The 6 inch brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring framing the finely matted centre with mock pendulum and calendar apertures, with blued steel hands, signed on a silvered name plaque Delander, London, all framed by cast brass mask spandrels, the break arch with pendulum rise and fall subsidiary dial marked 0-40. The timepiece movement united by five knopped pillars with single gut fusee and pivoted verge escapement held in tear-drop shaped cocks, the pendulum with lenticular bob, quarter repeating work sounding on three polished bells mounted above, the lacquered back plate unengraved bar a single line border framing the bold signature Delander, London. Ticking and with operational repeat. 44cms (17.5ins) high.
