A Navajo regional rug Early 20th century, Diné Woven in dark brown, cream, and tan wool, with three stacked serrated diamonds 44.25" H x 29" W Provenance: The Robert Stuart Schaefer Collection, Independence, CA With dust accumulation and typical signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Issues include, but not limited to: out of square, side A with areas at center with paint flecks/remnants, three corners with losses to selvage cording and attendant loose weave, one corner with reweaving, scattered small stitch repairs, and fading throughout.
