Reverse with medallion bearing Thai script. With original sash ribbon. Housed in the original fitted case with velvet and silk lining, the cover with logo “J. W. Benson, London'' From an old German diplomat's collection, assembled prior to 1920 - This order was instituted in 1869 by King Rama IV to recognize meritorious service to the Thai state and the Crown. The decoration could be awarded to both Siamese (Thai) citizens and foreign nationals.
