Two-panel sliding door (fusuma), painted on both sides. Ink and colour on paper.On the front, the left panel depicts a karako (Chinese boy) about to cross a bridge over a stream. The right panel shows a scholar accompanied by his attendant within a bamboo grove. On the reverse, flowering shrubs are depicted, including white hibiscus, along with a plover (chidori) and a kingfisher.
