Two-part pagoda reliquary (Sharitō 舎利塔) with polychrome floral cloisonné enamel decoration. Marked “Daimin nenzō.” Reliquary in the form of a pagoda, intended for the enshrinement and veneration of Buddhist relics (śarīra). Such objects served religious purposes in Japanese Buddhism and were used both in temples and in private devotional settings.
