The 8 inch painted white dial with black Roman numerals and blued steel hands with concealed strike/silent above, signed in the centre Robert Wood, London. The large three train triple fusee movement with anchor escapement, striking the hours on a polished bell mounted above and chiming the quarters on a nest of eight graduated bells and hammers, the back plate with simple engraved decoration, currently ticking and striking. 59cms (23.25ins) high.
