Beneath the upper shelf, gilt lettering to the glass reading Frodsham. The front fitted with three lockable glazed doors, all terminating in a moulded base and raised on a plinth. The 10 inch silvered regulator dial with Arabic minute divisions and separate hour dial with Roman numerals, with observatory marks to the subsidiary seconds dial, the seconds hand now missing, signed to the centre Charles Frodsham, London Clockmaker to the King No 2376. The movement with deadbeat escapement and shaped plates, powered by a single brass-clad weight and zinc pendulum with fine silvered regulation nut, currently ticking and striking. 198cms (78ins) high.
