The 2 inch white enamel Roman dial with gilt fleur-de-lys hands signed T. F. Cooper, London, with twin subsidiary dials below; the left for day of the week and the right for date. The movement with a finely shaped, fully jewelled platform with engraved balance cock, diamond endstone with cut and compensated balance to an underslung lever escapement, the plates united by four pillars secured to the back plate by finely blued steel screws and powered by a fine chain fusee with maintaining power, the spring barrel set in a shaped plate secured to the backplate by three blued steel screws.
