• Lot n° 12 A late 19th century French miniature porcelain panelled carriage clock timepiece Numbered 345 Numbered 345 Surmounted by a brass carrying handle over an oval bevelled glass observation window and moulded cornice, all four sides inset with turquoise blue porcelain panels depicting period ladies in multi-coloured dresses in a naturalistic settings within gilt borders, on a moulded base. The 1.25-inch Roman dial with fine blued steel hands over a scene depicting a young couple within a glade. The timepiece movement with a single going barrel, numbered 345 to the backplate, fitted with a silvered cylinder platform escapement, currently ticking. 9cms (3.75ins) high.
