Silk (rich blue), composite weave with additional brocaded pattern weft: silk (golden yellow, white, black), in Z-twill weave. Binding: Blue silk with woven pattern. Five spherical brass buttons as fasteners.The eight dragons are arranged in the customary pattern among scattered treasures above the waves, rocks, and deep water at the bottom hem. The decoration is based on 18th-century models. The robe is with unusual the proportions, shorter than usual and lacking the customary sleeve extensions. It may have been made for a young person or for export.
